A CSX train cuts through the Nashville National Cemetery. The cemetery is located in Madison TN, about six miles from the center of Nashville. Internments began in earnest after the Civil War in 1866, and the last few acres were added in 1879. There are three Medal of Honor winners buried here and over 4000 unknowns.

We approach the seventy fifth anniversary of the end of WWII, the Nashville National Cemetery is growing toward capacity. V75.
