About three miles east of the town of Marion TX, the UP has installed a high tech detector to find dragging or shifted loads. The older style detectors were simply a wire strung in the dimensions of a typical auto rack car, coupled with a dragging equipment detector. This one is different with a gantry and an assortment of sensors to find anything that is hazardous.
