UP 7795 and a long train of rock cars crosses the Seco Creek bridge in D’Hanis Texas. This bridge is a Pratt Through Truss type constructed in 1914. The timber approaches were replaced in 1989. Seco Creek is normally dry. A few miles ahead is the Seco Siding, a frequent place for meets.

D’Hanis was established by Henri Castro in 1847 and named for William D’Hanis who was Castro’s European manager for his colonial companies.
