The Galveston Railroad rosters 3 SW 1001 switchers to spot grain cars for shipment, mainly via a huge elevator along Harborside Drive. They are painted in the familiar orange, yellow and black of Genesee & Wyoming, which controls a large group of railroads.

The three man switch crew has the job well in hand and soon will be able to break for lunch.
